Top 10 Literary Quiz!
Here's a new game I made using inspiration from a comedy podcast that I enjoy.
It's a very simple format, you have a book character's name in your head.
You read 10 clues about that character to the students who are in groups of 5 or less.
Each clue reveals more and more about the character in questions.
If a group thinks they know who it is after you've read the first question, they write their answer down without revealing it to any other group and hand it in to you.
They cannot guess again for the rest of the round and you do not let them know if they are correct or not.
If they are correct, they will win 10 points because they guessed after the first clue. If a team guesses correctly after the second clue, they would win 9 points and so on until you get down to the last clue which of course is only worth 1 point.
I've got 8 character cards below, each game only takes around 4 or 5 minutes. Let me know if you use it in your Library Lessons or book clubs!
