A visit from author Julia Gray
This morning a large group of Year 9 students had an amazing visit from author Julia Gray.
Julia's new book, Little Liar, combines suspense, mystery, the supernatural and music into one amazing read.
We heard about Julia's inspirations as a writer and which books she loved as a child. We also heard original music from Julia who created an EP to coincide with Little Liar.
After the discussion three of our Year 9 students interviewed Julia for our new podcast Booklings Chat (more on that in a separate post). It was a really fun experience seeing the students asking Julia questions about music, writing and her favourite books.
As is our tradition for authors, Julia signed our Daivd Bowie "Read" poster which hangs in the entrance of the Library.
It was a really great experience for all of us & I can't wait to hear the students' reaction to Little Liar!
