SLAM Club: Keva Planks!
This week our SLAM (Student Leaders and Makers) Club met for some low tech maker space action.
We used some Keva Planks which are bright pieces of wood that can be made in limitless designs.
This simple yet fun toy comes with a manual that provides lots of different things students can try to make like animals and buildings.
It's fun to put students in teams and give them a time limit to create something of their own. Our club spent 45 minutes tinkering with the Keva Planks and slowly more and more students joined in to play.
It was a really great to watch them explore with these items, I've got more new SLAM club products on the way, can't wait to try them out!
