Professional Skype Series: Forensic Science!

I was very pleased to deliver another successful Professional Skype series, this time with our Year 12 Core Group.

Our students Skyped with Dr. David Thompson from Keele University in Newcastle, UK.

Dr. Thompson teaches Forensic Science at the University and had a great deal of information for our students on pursuing a career in this field.

The purpose of the Library's Professional Skype series is to expose our 6th Form students to as many different career paths as possible.

It's also a great way to impress upon the students that career paths are not always cut and dry, people often find themselves in careers that they wouldn't have dreamed of when they were in high school or even university.

It's a great learning opportunity for all of us, I'm excited to organise more of these in the future!
