A Skype visit with author Robin Stevens!
This week our Year 8 Core Group had a really fun and engaging talk with author Robin Stevens.
Robin is the author of the Murder Most Unladylike mystery series, one of the more popular series in the Library this year.
We had a special reason to talk to Robin. Our Core Group Year 8 students are currently reading The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle and as a mystery writer, this novel happens to be one of Robin's favourite books!
Robin explained mystery writing and its different styles, how she does research for her novels, which are primarily set in the 1930s and much more.
Robin also showed us her pet lizard, Watson!
It was a very valuable discussion that the students really loved!
