PAWS to Read in the Library!
It's time again for PAWS to Read in the Library with Mabel the Super Reading Dog.
This is a really amazing program where students come to the Library and read to Mabel in a calm, quiet atmosphere.
Reading aloud to animals has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety and of course it improves upon students' reading skills.
We re very lucky to have Mabel join the Student Library Assistant team every year and they really love walking her around the Library, showing her the books and of course having other students come in and read to her.
This is definitely a program we will be expanding in the future!
