A Skype visit with Abby Cooper!

This week Year 7s at Glenthorne had a great virtual visit with author Abby Cooper.


Abby's passion for reading and writing was infectious and in turn the students had some really great questions for her.

Abby talked about writing, being a keen reader and she even showed us her bookshelves which are filled with great books.

Abby's first book, Sticks and Stones is about a 12 year old girl who has a unique affliction. When people call her names, those words appear on her skin. Her second book, Bubbles, is about a girl who can see what people are thinking!

It was a great time spent with a very enthusiastic and fun author. I would highly recommend connecting with Abby for a virtual visit and to learn about these great books!
