Sept 2017 Monthly Stats!

As usual, September proved to be a very busy month. Here is the rundown on our stats:

Books borrowed: 792 (25% increase from Sept 2016)
Girls borrowed 395 books
Boys borrowed 397 books

Programs held:

Our book club, The Booklings, held three meetings this month
Our Y8 tutor time book club met twice this month
I met with Y8 & Y9 Core groups twice to teach research skills
Our students hosted a Twitter chat with author Lauren Oliver
Our Manga Club met twice this month, missing one meeting due to Parent's Evening
We held one Mystery Skype with our Year 7s with Columbia, Pennsylvania.
Our SLAM (Student Leaders & Makers Club) conducted a LEGO tournament
Our film club met every lunch for a week to watch Miss. Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children
We delivered 16 "Escape the Library" games as part of Year 7 & 8 Library Orientation
We held a Banned Books Open Mic
We celebrated Roald Dahl Day with a Fantastic Mr. Fox craft & Frobscottle!
