Halloween Short Story Writing Workshop with Natalie Flynn!

This Halloween our students had an amazing short story writing workshop with author Natalie Flynn.

The event was held at lunch and relied on students signing up on their own volition. I was very pleased to see that we had a full house of students eating their lunch and writing horror stories with their friends.

Natalie led the students through character and plot development, setting the scene and creating problems for their characters to overcome. The students were really engaged in creating memorable scenes and characters.

This workshop will continue next week when Natalie helps the students polish their stories. If the students want, Natalie will publish them on her web site. A great opportunity and a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween!
