World Read Aloud Day, Live From South Burlington, Vermont!
Today we had over 60 Year 7 students interacting with Grade 3 students from South Burlington, Vermont in the U.S.
We had a really amazing chat where we discussed the differences between our schools, culture, sports, food and of course our favourite books.
Three of our students took turns reading aloud to the children in Vermont over Skype, there were lots of laughs and a huge applause when they were finished.
This was another positive and uplifting connection with another school and I am excited to do another on Friday with South Carolina!
