A Skype visit with author Denis Markell
Over 60 Year 7 students had the great opportunity recently to Skype with Denis Markell in the library, author of "Click Here to Start."
We woke Denis up bright and early at his home in Brooklyn, New York to hear him read from Click Here to Start and to have an excellent conversation on writing, his inspirations, where he gets his ideas and how to turn them into a book.
I was very impressed with the questions our students asked, all of the 6 copies of Click Here to Start flew off of the shelves after the discussion.
It was so popular we're doing another one on Friday with a few Year 8 classes on Friday!
