Manga Club, Season 3, Episode 8
Today we took some inspiration from Beth Saxton, a Librarian in Ohio that always has great ideas.
I highly recommend subscribing to her newsletter as it is always filled with engaging teen activities.
One of these was to cut out faces from magazine and have teens write down what the people were thinking.
I decided to adapt this to our Manga Club and have the students print and cut out the heads of manga characters and then write down their thoughts.
It took them a lot longer than I thought as they wanted to capture the essence of their favourite characters as best as possible.
An easy, fun activity that you can adapt to almost any literary activity.
