Student Book Reviews

I've been asking students to write book reviews on index cards and putting them on display much like you'd see at various bookstores around the world.

I've been pleased with the results so far.  It's tricky, writing a concise review in such a small space but the students have been great at it and having peer-reviewed books on the shelves make a big difference.

I started out asking Library Assistants to write the reviews but when other students saw them doing them, they got involved as well. This started an impromptu book review session after school yesterday, with a group of five students writing reviews and discussing their favourite books, great to see.
