Word Clouds
I was made aware of a great site called Tagxedo that lets you make attractive-looking word clouds that can be easily modified, saved and shared.
I think it will be a great way to get reluctant writers to review books, or use as a quiz where students have to guess the title of the book based on the words entered into the cloud.
Last week we had author Darren Shan visit so I made a word cloud based on the feedback from the students.
There are several shapes and images to use, but I thought since it's Darren Shan, a flying bat would be the most appropriate.
